Cladding Replacement for a Prominent Commercial Tower

Net Facade was engaged to provide façade consulting and certification services for the recladding of 124 Walker Street, a commercial high-rise located in the heart of North Sydney’s business district.

The project involved the removal of non-compliant combustible cladding and the installation of a fully compliant, non-combustible façade system in accordance with current NCC requirements and the Design and Building Practitioners (DBP) Act.

Our scope included:

Cladding system design and documentation review
Structural and waterproofing certification under the DBP Act
Coordination with builders, fire engineers, and certifiers
Performance assessment of new materials against AS 1530.1
On-site inspections and installation quality assurance
The upgraded façade improves both safety and long-term durability, while also enhancing the building’s visual identity within the evolving North Sydney skyline. The new cladding system was selected for its tested performance, minimal maintenance, and compatibility with the building’s existing structure.
