Façade Redevelopment of an Iconic Landmark

Net Facade was engaged to provide façade design and certification services for the transformation of the former ETSA building into Air Apartments — a $100 million premium residential development in the heart of Adelaide.

This project involved the complete redevelopment of a disused commercial structure into a vibrant 140-apartment complex, incorporating modern luxury and amenity. Our scope included:

Curtain wall system redesign and detailing
Structural and waterproofing compliance certification
Façade performance assessment for retrofit conditions
Oversight of installation and QA support during delivery
Key architectural features included rooftop penthouses, a newly inserted floor level, and extensive communal amenities such as a gym, pool, wine cellar, and entertainment areas — all of which required careful integration with the façade systems.
